            Basketball Recap: Black Hills Wolves vs. Elma Eagles        
        
		
        
        
             Black Hills had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed by the Elma Eagles to the tune of  55-27. The  game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  34-14.
 Black Hills found their leader in sophomore  Tyler Venable, who  went 10 for 19 en route to 24 points plus three  steals. The dominant performance also gave  Venable a new career-high in  offensive rebounds (four). Another player making a difference was  Ellie Johnson, who  had seven points in addition to 20  rebounds and four  steals.
 Black Hills has  already played their next  contest (against Elma), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Elma,  it'll be Battle of the Birds when  the Elma Eagles  face off against   the Raymond/South Bend Ravens at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
