Soccer Recap: T.C. Roberson Beats Freedom for Their Third Straight Win + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only T.C. Roberson walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Freedom Patriots 1-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering T.C. Roberson's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while Freedom are ranked 403rd).

T.C. Roberson's one-goal win came courtesy of Quinn Redrick, who's now up to three this season.

The win (which was T.C. Roberson's third in a row) raised their record to 10-7-4. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Freedom, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-16-1.

T.C. Roberson wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Mount Tabor on the 6th. Freedom does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
