Basketball Recap: Lomega Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After a string of three wins, Lomega's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 73-62 to the Deer Creek-Lamont Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Raiders still had to take the loss.

Lomega's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6. As for Deer Creek-Lamont, their win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lomega will venture away from home to take on Medford at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lomega knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Medford likes a good challenge. As for Deer Creek-Lamont, they will head out on the road to face off against Ringwood at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Deer Creek-Lamont is facing Ringwood at the right time seeing as Ringwood is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
