Volleyball Recap: Porter Ridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Porter Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Marvin Ridge Mavericks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-12, 25-10.

Teagan Williams paced Porter Ridge's offense, picking up four kills. Williams got some help from Braelyn Bevington and her two assists. Bevington was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Porter Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Marvin Ridge, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-2.

Porter Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Weddington on the 1st. As for Marvin Ridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Catawba Ridge on the 1st.
