Volleyball Recap: Lake Pointe Academy Takes a Loss

Lake Pointe Academy lost against Walnut Grove Christian back in August of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mariners lost 3-0 to the Christian Warriors. The Mariners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Pointe Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-17, 25-20.

Lake Pointe Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Walnut Grove Christian, they moved to 6-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Lake Pointe Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against UR Academy on the 16th. As for Walnut Grove Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against The Fletcher School on the 16th.
