South Shore waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Midwood Hornets 95-27. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 21 points or more this season.

South Shore has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Midwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

South Shore and Midwood could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. South Shore (ranked 49th) will meet St. John's (ranked third) at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Meanwhile, Midwood will take on Grand Street Campus at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday down 208 places (360 vs. 152).
