There's no place like home for Bellarmine College Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They put the hurt on the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

While Bellarmine College Prep won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 25-17.

Bellarmine College Prep was led to victory by Nate Berliner and Christian Quiroz. Berliner had 22 digs and one assist, while Quiroz had four digs and two aces. That's the most aces Quiroz has posted since back in March of 2024. Kasra Rategh also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.
