Football Recap: Northwest Webster Falls to Southeast Valley in First Game of Season

Northwest Webster unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 34-13 to the Southeast Valley Jaguars on Friday. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Looking ahead, Northwest Webster is taking a road trip to square off against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southeast Valley, they will face off against Emmetsburg on Friday.
