Soccer Game Preview: Copperas Cove vs. Bryan

The Copperas Cove Bulldawgs will square off against the Bryan Vikings at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Copperas Cove is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Killeen a 6-0 shutout on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldawgs needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

They hit Killeen with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ailene Rodarte (2), Trinity Garcia (2), Ava Shorey, and Emma Sheon.

Meanwhile, Bryan hasn't lost a match since January 3rd, a trend which continued in their latest game two weeks ago. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Huntsville.

Bryan has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-1-1 record this season. As for Copperas Cove, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1.
