Volleyball Recap: Palmer Gets the Win

Palmer won the last time they faced Chambers/Wheeler Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Renegades.

Palmer not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Chambers/Wheeler Central between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18.

Marlea Donahey paced Palmer's offense, picking up ten kills. Donahey got some help from Kayden Tyan and her 20 assists. Finally, Donahey was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Palmer's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

Looking ahead, Palmer will be playing at home against Grand Island Lutheran at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Central Valley on the 7th.
