Everything went their way against the LaBrae Vikings on Tuesday as the Howland Tigers made off with a 60-40 victory. The Tigers pushed the score to 47-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Vikings cut but never quite recovered from.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Howland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Darren Douglas, who went 6 of 10 en route to 12 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Luca Naples, who posted 11 points.
Howland pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for LaBrae, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
