Basketball Recap: Oshkosh North Comes Up Short

Oshkosh North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 62-33 loss at the hands of the Appleton North Lightning. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Spartans have suffered against the Lightning since February 4, 2020.

Oshkosh North's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Appleton North, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Oshkosh North and Appleton North could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Oshkosh North (ranked 256th) will meet Neenah (ranked 81st) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Appleton North will take on Kimberly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 167 places (171 vs. 4).
