Basketball Recap: Subiaco Academy Beats Lamar for Their Third Straight Win

Lamar typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Subiaco Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They managed a 62-57 win over the Lamar Warriors. The victory was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won three games in a row.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kendrick Carr, who posted 17 points and six boards. Carr's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ben Noonan, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds.

Subiaco Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Lamar, their defeat ended a 20-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 25-4.

Subiaco Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-45 victory against Elkins on the 28th. As for Lamar, they have also already played their next contest, a 63-47 win against Providence Academy on the 25th.
