Baseball Recap: Zeigler-Royalton's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Zeigler-Royalton blew Vienna out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Vienna got their revenge. The Tornadoes fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Tornadoes couldn't push the score so high this time.

Zeigler-Royalton's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-4. As for Vienna, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

While Zeigler-Royalton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
