Baseball Recap: Christian Brothers Find Success

Christian Brothers won the last time they faced Ponderosa and things went their way on Thursday too. The Falcons walked away with a 6-3 win over the Bruins. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Dre Lee tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. He is becoming a predictor of Christian Brothers' success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is undefeated (and 4-5 when he doesn't).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Henry Ramsey, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Pelka, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Christian Brothers' record now sits at 10-5. As for Ponderosa, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
