Village Tech got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Andrew May out in front who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Zechariah Jackson, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds.
Cross Roads' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Village Tech, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
Cross Roads will head out on the road to face off against Mildred at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Village Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lucas Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Lucas Christian Academy is ranked 1074th, while Village Tech is ranked 1071st).
