Soccer Recap: Ashley's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ashley had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Hoggard Vikings by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for Ashley: when they faced off against Hoggard back in April, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

The win (which was Ashley's seventh in a row) raised their record to 21-2-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those seven contests. As for Hoggard, their defeat ended a 16-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-2.

Coming up, Ashley will challenge Millbrook on Tuesday. Millbrook will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ashley surely won't give up without a fight. Hoggard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
