Basketball Recap: North Lenoir's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

North Lenoir's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 63-53 win over the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hawks as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

North Lenoir's win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Lenoir will challenge East Duplin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Duplin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.8 points per game this season. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they will head out to take on Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Wallace-Rose Hill is facing Clinton at the right time seeing as Clinton is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
