Volleyball Game Preview: Assabet Valley RVT Aztecs vs. Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers

Assabet Valley RVT hasn't had much luck against Blackstone Valley RVT recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Aztecs will venture away from home to challenge the Beavers at 5:30 p.m. Assabet Valley RVT is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Assabet Valley RVT proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Tri-County RVT, sneaking past 3-2.

Meanwhile, Blackstone Valley RVT made easy work of Northeast Metro RVT on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Assabet Valley RVT's record now sits at 8-11. As for Blackstone Valley RVT, their record is now 15-3.

Assabet Valley RVT came up short against Blackstone Valley RVT in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Aztecs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
