Baseball Game Preview: Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans vs. Hazleton Area Cougars

Greater Nanticoke Area is 0-4 against Hazleton Area since April of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Cougars at 4:30 p.m.

Greater Nanticoke Area is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They fell 4-1 to Dallas.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hazleton Area, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They skirted past Wilkes-Barre 6-4.

Hazleton Area has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
