            Nazareth Area dropped their record down to 16-6 on Monday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins on the road. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-5), but sadly  the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  4-3  defeat  two weeks ago.
 Zak Novak was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. That's the fewest  earned runs  he has allowed since back in April.
 At the plate, Nazareth Area saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Evan Shak, who  went 3-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  run.  Matt Daems was another,  going 1-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
As for Liberty, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.8 runs across that stretch.
 On Liberty's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Franklin Pichardo, who  went 3-for-4 with two  RBI. That's the most  hits  Pichardo has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kamron Kensicki, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
 Nazareth Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty, they will be playing at home against Parkland  at 7:05  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5  runs per game  this season, so the Hurricanes' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
