Warren is still winless after their contest against Marshall on Saturday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They fell just short of the Marshall Rams by a score of 31-28. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the defeat, Warren had strong showings from Davian Gonzales, who threw for 383 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per attempt, and Jamare Jones, who picked up 198 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Jones torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards. A healthy portion of that aerial production (81 yards to be exact) also went to Daniel R Escarcega.

Warren wouldn't let Marshall keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Warren can thank George Silva and Christan Segovia for forcing both of them. Lee Thompson was another major factor on D, making 12 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Jalen Glover was his usual excellent self, rushing for 187 yards while picking up 7.8 yards per carry for Marshall.

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Marshall, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Warren will challenge Holmes at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Warren will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Marshall, they will host Sotomayor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
