Volleyball Recap: Irving Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Irving was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Berkner Rams. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rams from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Irving took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-22.

Berkner's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Asha Patil led the charge by getting seven digs and four aces. What's more, Patil racked up 14 assists, the most she's had since back in August.

Irving's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Berkner, they moved to 10-17 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Irving has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Richardson on the 30th. As for Berkner, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Nimitz on the 30th.
