Softball Recap: Chippewa Valley Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Chippewa Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Clarkston Wolves by a score of 8-4 on Wednesday.

Frankie Goodrich was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Miley Austin was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Chippewa Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .421. They are 2-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Chippewa Valley's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Clarkston beat the Big Reds by a score of 17-8 later that day.
