Baseball Recap: Hancock Tigers vs. Bishop DuBourg Cavaliers
Hancock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 20-5 to the Bishop DuBourg Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in March.
Kevin Nash made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That RBI was his first of the season.
Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13-1. As for Bishop DuBourg, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hancock will square off against Valley Park at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Bishop DuBourg, they will head out to square off against Veritas Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
