DSST: Montview extended their winning streak to five on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 6-6 in the process. They put the hurt on the Hinkley Thunder with a sharp 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won four matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

As for Hinkley, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-9. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Hinkley's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angel Ruiz-Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DSST: Montview will face off against Manual at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hinkley, they will be playing at home against Northridge at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Thunder are facing the Grizzlies at the right time seeing as the Grizzlies are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
