Basketball Recap: Southeast Wins Going Away Against Champion

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garfield, Southeast was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Champion Golden Flashes as the Southeast Pirates made off with a 59-38 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Champion lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Mike Miller, who posted 11 points. Braylen Braham was another key player, putting up nine points and seven boards.

Southeast now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Champion, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Southeast has already played their next matchup (against Brookfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Champion has already played their next game, a 67-55 loss against Windham on the 30th.
