Soccer Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Edmonds-Woodway

Having lost for the first time this season, Monroe fell to 5-1. As for Edmonds-Woodway, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monroe will head out to face off against Glacier Peak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glacier Peak will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Monroe surely won't give up without a fight. As for Edmonds-Woodway, they will square off against Archbishop Murphy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Archbishop Murphy's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Edmonds-Woodway's offense will have their work cut out for them.
