Baseball Recap: North Lenoir Takes a Loss

If North Lenoir was feeling good fresh off their 19-2 takedown of James Kenan on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks fell just short of the South Lenoir Blue Devils by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Hawks have suffered since March 7th.

North Lenoir saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Sasser, who went 1-for-4 with one run.

North Lenoir's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for South Lenoir, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

As of now, neither North Lenoir nor South Lenoir have any future games scheduled.
