Basketball Recap: Terry's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Terry extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Madison Jones. The Terry Bulldogs came out on top against the Newton County Cougars by a score of 43-30 on Saturday thanks in part to Jones, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Jones is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Terry's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Newton County, they moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Terry and Vicksburg will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Newton County, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Newton County Cougars take on the Moss Point Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Moss Point's defense has only allowed 28.1 points per game this season, so Newton County's offense will have their work cut out for them.
