Basketball Recap: Dixon Falls Despite Big Games from Grady Adams and Noah Wright

Dixon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 68-56 to the Heide Trask Titans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 84-47 last Tuesday.

Noah Wright and Grady Adams certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Wright went 5 for 11 on his way to 15 points, while Adams went 6 of 13 en route to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Dylan Langston, who posted six points.

Among those leading the charge was Trey Cheatam, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthias Sonne, who had 12 points.

Dixon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Heide Trask, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6.

Dixon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-46 loss against Northside - Jacksonville on the 17th. As for Heide Trask, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 81-58 win against Richlands on the 17th.
