Basketball Recap: Rivercrest Extends Road Winning Streak to Eight

Rivercrest put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They pulled ahead with a 49-48 photo finish over the Searcy Lions.

Rivercrest pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points per game. As for Searcy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-7.

Rivercrest will take on Newport in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Searcy and Crowley's Ridge Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
