Volleyball Game Preview: Garaway Pirates vs. Fort Frye Cadets

The Garaway Pirates will be taking part in a tournament against the Fort Frye Cadets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Garaway will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

While Garaway's win against Conotton Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Pirates won by a set and slipped past the Rockets 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Garaway who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Fort Frye beat East Palestine 2-0 on Wednesday.

Garaway's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Fort Frye, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.
