Football Recap: Newcastle Racers vs. Duncan Demons
Newcastle won the last time they faced Duncan and things went their way on Friday too. The Racers enjoyed a cozy 44-28 victory over the Demons. Given the Racers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Demons are ranked 110th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Newcastle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taylor Bradford, who rushed for 241 yards and one TD while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Bradford is now averaging an impressive 105.8 rushing yards per game. Ben Rogers was another key back, rushing for 100 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries.
