Soccer Recap: Plattsburgh's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Gouverneur on Tuesday, Plattsburgh came back down to earth. The Hornets fell just short of the Greenville Spartans by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The loss put an end to Plattsburgh's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Plattsburgh fell to 3-1. As for Greenville, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Plattsburgh will head out on the road to challenge Stillwater at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday. As for Greenville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Germantown at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Greenville their first taste of in-conference action this season.
