With a playoff win on the line, St. Thomas Aquinas rose to the challenge on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Nova Titans an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Nova from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Rayne Archuleta led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

St. Thomas Aquinas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five games. As for Nova, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14-1.
