Staunton had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Stuarts Draft Cougars with a sharp 6-1 victory. Considering Staunton have won eight matches by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Staunton's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those five games. As for Stuarts Draft, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
