Northside had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Wednesday. They never let the Sipsey Valley Bears get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. Considering the Rams have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Northside got a great performance from Avery Patton as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Patton has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Caroline Jones was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Aiden Sharbutt was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Northside was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive matchups.

Northside's victory bumped their record up to 25-11-1. As for Sipsey Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northside will host Wenonah at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sipsey Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holy Spirit Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
