The Center Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Liberty Ranch Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Ranch took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Center, who comes in off a win.
After a 13-11 finish the last time they played, Center and Amador decided to play a little more cautiously this time around. Center never let Amador onto the board and left with a 3-0 win on Saturday. The victory was just what Center needed coming off of a 13-3 loss in their prior game.

Meanwhile, Liberty Ranch fell victim to El Dorado and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 8-0 walloping at the hands of the Cougars. The match marked that first time this season in which Liberty Ranch was not able to get on the board.
Liberty Ranch saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vance Moe, who went 1-for-2 with a stolen base.
Center's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5. As for Liberty Ranch, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both teams have some strikeout artists on the roster. Center has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.6 strikeouts per game.
