Clovis West had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Justin Garza Guardians 3-0 on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Guardians recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Clovis West's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-14.

Justin Garza now has a losing record of 1-2.
