Basketball Recap: Millville Takes a Loss

Millville suffered their biggest loss since January 22, 2024 on Thursday. They took a blow against the Middle Township Panthers, falling 58-24. The contest marked the Thunderbolts' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Jamir McNeil was his usual excellent self, going 7 of 10 on his way to 14 points along with five assists and three steals for Middle Township. McNeil has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amir Elston, who posted 11 points.

Millville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Middle Township, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Millville will be playing in front of their home fans against Holy Spirit at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Middle Township, they will venture away from home to challenge Atlantic City at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
