Basketball Game Preview: Spearman Lynx vs. Farwell Steers

The Spearman Lynx will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Farwell Steers at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.

Last Friday, Spearman ended up a good deal behind Gruver and lost 51-32. The match marked the Lynx's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Farwell). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 91-18 win over Newcomb. The Steers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 31 points or more this season.

Farwell's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Spearman, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-3.

Spearman opened the new year with a less-than-successful 52-45 loss to Farwell. Can Spearman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
