Licking waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Waynesville Tigers a 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Licking's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Waynesville, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.

Licking wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-3 loss against Pacific on the 10th. As for Waynesville, they will head out on the road to face off against Ozark at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
