Basketball Recap: Indian Valley Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Indian Valley's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the River View Black Bears by a score of 49-42. For the Braves, this counts as revenge for the 59-48 victory the Black Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2020.

Indian Valley is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for River View, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Indian Valley is taking a road trip to square off against Tuscarawas Valley at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tuscarawas Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Indian Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for River View, they will be playing at home against Philo at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. River View has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
