Basketball Recap: Jadrien Ezell Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Norwell

With a playoff win on the line, New Haven rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 71-49 margin over the Norwell Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-41 back in January.

New Haven's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jadrien Ezell led the charge by going 8-for-15 from beyond the arc on his way to 30 points. Those 30 points gave Ezell a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tarvar Baskerville, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 18 points and five assists.

New Haven is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points over those games. Norwell's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.

New Haven wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 92-88 loss against Marion on the 8th. Norwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
