Basketball Recap: Danbury Takes a Loss

Danbury lost against Hopewell-Loudon back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Danbury Lakers had to suffer through a 66-38 loss at the hands of the Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains. The Lakers were down 54-32 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Danbury dropped their record down to 2-12 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hopewell-Loudon, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Danbury will face off against Lakota at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hopewell-Loudon, they will take on Gibsonburg at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
