Baseball Game Preview: North Kitsap Vikings vs. Sequim Wolves

North Kitsap has gone 8-2 against Sequim recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wolves at 4:15 p.m. North Kitsap has given up an average of 6.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

North Kitsap came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-3 to South Kitsap. The Vikings have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sequim). They came out on top against Forks by a score of 12-9 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wolves as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Sequim's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for North Kitsap, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

North Kitsap couldn't quite get it done against Sequim in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 as they fell 7-4. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
