Erie won the last time they faced Brighton, and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Erie Tigers' way against the Brighton Bulldogs as the Erie Tigers made off with a 17-7 victory. Considering the Tigers have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Sophee Horovitz looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Lizzie Owens was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was America Griffin, who went 4-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and a triple.
