Football Recap: Oconomowoc Takes a Loss

Oconomowoc extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 3-3. They were dealt a 38-0 defeat at the hands of the Arrowhead Warhawks. The game marked the first time this season in which the Raccoons were not able to get on the board.

As for Arrowhead, their win bumped their record up to 5-1. The result was nothing new for the Warhawks, who have now won four matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Arrowhead's victory came down to the chemistry between Nolan Hanson and his top target Ryan Heiman. Hanson threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns while Heiman picked up 69 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Those three passing touchdowns gave Hanson a new career-high.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Oconomowoc will head out to square off against Waukesha West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolverines will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Arrowhead, they will square off against Mukwonago at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Warhawks surely won't give up without a fight.
