Football Recap: Rogers Comes Up Short on the Road Against Elida

Rogers kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Elida Bulldogs, falling 38-0. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 593rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 251st).

Looking ahead, Rogers will head out on the road to take on Gibsonburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elida, they will host Van Wert at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
